I had a new hair cut today. Went to this salon in Liang Court that houseki recommended. Wanted to get a hair style like Kate Beckinsale in Underworld and Whiteout, but in the end I just told her to trim and colour.

Turns out that it looks a little like the hair style I wanted but I don't think I will be able to maintain it for long, considering it needs copious hair drying and blowing efforts... And the hairdresser gave me a dark hair colour because apparently I am fair and look nicer in dark colours. Hn...

Sigh, I wish I had a professional to do my hair every morning!

And oh, I love Kate Beckinsale.

So! Returning from Korea gave me a lot of doubts about Korean fashion fads. So I decided to post this pic from childhoodflames because it is similar to what every girl in Korea is sporting. Except that at least hers is a bit more angular and layered. The Korean girls sported above eyebrows STRAIGHT fringe with very full sides... Something that I can safely describe as "mushroom-ish". How it actually became a popular hairdo I can't imagine but to me it's as fuck ugly as hell.

Yes, I'm at it again. I've broken my record of going to the salon only twice a year. But maybe in another two months, I want to get a hair cut like this.

I had recently cut my long locks to a new layered short hair crop. But as with short hair, constant trimming is necessary at least once every 2 to 3 months. I've decided that I'll trimmed it even shorter than the current style like this:



Just slightly shorter in front.



Very much shorter on the back. Will take it longer for it grow out too and hence less trimming needed! =)
